LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Expands

Joel and Shannon LaCanne of LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Centers recently purchased Osterberg Funeral Home in Lakefield and Jackson, MN.

The couple has more than 20 years of experience with the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom that opened in 2004. They expanded their business to Jackson where they constructed a new funeral home in July of 2022.

The LaCanne’s oldest son, Kaleb LaCanne, is earning a degree in Mortuary Science with plans to join his parents in the family business will be a licensed intern in early 2024 and shortly thereafter a licensed funeral director.

The SRDC was happy to assist the LaCanne family in their expansion utilizing the Revolving Loan Fund along with Falcon Development Corporation funds.
